Can you help:
If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.
We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.
- Capture 1
- 13 Jul 2012
Griff (Derren Nesbitt) about to commence the robbery . . .
. . . at the corner of St. Margaret's Road and The Barons in St. Margaret's, Twickenham.
- Capture 2
- 26 Aug 2012
Griff walks towards the Eastern Counties Bank in St. Margaret's.
The building no longer stands but the rest of the parade is still in situ. Twickenham Film Studios can be seen on the right.
- Capture 3
- 13 Jul 2012
Same image as capture 2. The street sign on the wall reads The Broadway and this location also appears in 'Double Bunk', 'The Ghost Camera' and 'Emergency'.
Just to show how far from the studios they travelled to make this film!! Image copyright unknown.
- Capture 4
- 13 Jul 2012
Griff gets out of the van involved in the robbery. The Barons in St. Margaret's, a road that has appeared in many films including ‘Not So Dusty’, ‘Au Pair Girls’, ‘Breakaway’, ‘Jungle Street’, ‘White Cargo’ and ‘Delayed Action’.
The fence and telegraph pole are still there in The Barons just along from the studio.
- Capture 5
- 13 Jul 2012
St Margarets Road at the junction with Kings Road.
No longer Everest Garages but the building remains.
- Capture 6
- 13 Jul 2012
St Margarets Road again. This time at the junction of Rosslyn Road.
It appears that the crew never moved more than 500 metres from the studio.
- Capture 7
- 13 Jul 2012
Friends turn up at the bank to meet Mr Spencer, the manager, with St Margarets station just visible to the right of centre background.
The same location.
- Capture 8
- 13 Jul 2012
Judging by the location budget this must be somewhere near the studios.
And its not too far away . . . St Margarets Road yet again with the van travelling from the Richmond Road end.
