It has been suggested that the film was made in and around the various Slaughters in Gloucestershire. Do they have water features? But this pic hasn't. It is a pub.

A train, and a station, but not in the Slaughters, closest railway being Bledington, or perhaps Wychwood. Peter Brown has done some research and come up with Stow-on-the-Wold, with two canopies it certainly matches pictures on the Web. (RL)
