If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Very un-London like house, described in the film as "Heath Row, Highgate". Prompted by a viewing of a new comparative shot for 'The Thirty NIne Steps' (1978) Jules Ballantyne recognised this as Bushy Cottage on Campbell Road, East Molesey, Surrey. (RL)

Antony Blair captured the scene today, without the window shutters.

This is the view away from it.

Haigh meets Syms outside her secretarial college. Malcolm Fish identifies this as 25 South Audley Street, London W1, Mayfair Library. (RL)

Chris Rose provides this shot to replace the Westminster Council image, that out stood since 2012, provided by Malcolm Fish to support his identification.

Lockwood awaits her elder sis outside church in vain.

This is numbers 26 and 27 with Block & Grey next door.

25 and 26 South Audley Street, as we know, but the permanent green and white awning of Harry's Bar makes it difficult to take a "now" but the tell tale stonework remains. Richard Lovejoy

Grand Chelsea-like abode. Jules went on to recognise this as Prestbury House on Campbell Road in East Molesey, Surrey, located to the right of captures 58 and 60 in 'The Thirty Nine Steps' (1978). (RL)

Antony Blair returned to the location 69 years later.

And this is next door as Haigh visits an aunt for money. Gifted that this is 'next door', Jules tells us that this is 'The White House', Campbell Road, East Molesey, Surrey, also seen in 'The Thirty Nine Steps (1978) at Capture 59. (RL)

Stopped by the police at Horseguards Parade, Horseguards Road, SW1.

The approach to Holloway, also seen in 'Turn the Key Softly'.

Holloway Prison closed some years ago and the site has been boarded up ever since, although it would seem that demolition has at last started to take place with a view to re-development. By chance, Denis Hoare was in the area last September and took this shot from outside where the main entrance was. Looking across Parkhurst Road to Camden Road, London N7 and its junction with Hilmarton Road.

A nice big sign as Neagle visits her daughter.

Bow Street Magistrates Court, or is it? Funny set like background. Seen in 'Rude Boy' and 'The Informers' but by then (1963) Broad Court was pedestrianised.
