Kinematograph Weekly – Thursday 4th August 1932 reports:

GARE DU NORD – Dismantling a Train. The astonishingly real French locomotive for Rome Express was acting for Walter Forde in the Gare du Nord, now dismantled. Its real steam- a handy cure for blackheads, Mr Forde informed me-was performing for the last shots in the picture. Albert de Courville has also completed There Goes the Bride using the same set.

Escaping from the arranged marriage, Annette runs away to Paris before the ceremony and her family put up a reward of F50,000 for information leading to her return. Manuel Gurtner advises that this is stock footage featuring the arrival of the Calais - Mediterranée Express, better known as Train Bleu, at Gare de Lyon on Place Louis-Armand in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

With all of the action featuring the cast taking place at the studio, we should at least see one of them. Here's Max (Owen Nares) jumping from his balcony as he rushes to catch up with Annette when she's taken away by two Men to be returned home by the 8 o'clock train.

At the terminus, the Two men lead Annette to the express for Dijon. Although platform scenes featuring the cast were shot at platform scenes were shot at the British Lion Studios, this is Gare de Lyon in Paris identified by Manuel Gurtner.
