We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Jody (Joanna Pettet) outside St. Marys Church in Hemel Hempstead, just off the High Street in the Old Town.

My, that tree has grown in the 46 years!

Jody finds the book shop closed at 48 High Street.

The same shop front, now the premises of Dacorum Borough Council.

In a later scene Ingram (Norman Rodway) leaves the bookshop.

A wider shot of the same location.

Ingram is rebuffed on High Street in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

The same corner of the building which was built in 1888.

In the High Street. there is a Chemist at no. 65, L.T. Marriott at 63 and Terrys at no. 61.

Different names but the same row of shops.

The shop 'Hamblin' at no. 59 was a dispensing opticians, which later became 'Coton & Hamblin' with shops currently in Woolwich and Blackheath.

Currently, no. 59 is an off licence.
