Tony Rapallo (John Gregson) dashes outside to meet aching midwife Ms. Appleby after she falls from her bicycle when a car speeds past. Martin Smith believes that Rose Cottage on Rowley Green Road, Arkley is now a keepers cottage.

The Cab Driver (Alfie Bass) listens to Tony's out of breath request to return to Rose Cottage. Mark informs us that the garage is now Harringtons car dealership opposite the White Horse public house on London Road, Shenley.

The pair get into the cab and set off to find that Dorothy's worrying was a false alarm. London Road in Shenley, Hertfordshire identified by Mark Littlefield and confirmed by Martin Smith who tells us that the houses in the background still stand.

Having located Tony, Myrtle takes a room at a pub close to Rose Cottage. The Three Horse Shoes public house on The Green, Letchmore Heath in Hertfordshire. The pub also features in ‘Die! Die! My Darling!’, 'Web of Suspicion', 'Confessions of a Window Cleaner' and 'Up the Creek'.
