The first section of the film is captioned 1: The loss of the British Empire. Peter was advised by a police woman and a frock coated gent who lived there that this is Ambassadors' Court in London SW1.

Not much of a story line, the film is full of interviews with celebrities of the day. Buttons in threes, Scots Guards. Ambassadors' Court, in the foreground, with the Stable Yard and Lancaster House in the right backround says Peter.

Are these Scots Guards . . . . . . Is this St James' Palace? Yes, but the Palace is not open to the public. However, Peter advises that you can visit the chapel at certain times.

Swinging London. Westbourne Grove at the junction with Portobello Road in W11. Various lengths of Portobello Road make an appearance in a number of productions including ‘Otley’, ‘Notting Hill’, ‘Pressure’, ‘The Wind of Change’, ‘Seven Green Bottles’, ‘Breaking Glass’, ‘West 11’, ‘The Moon Over the Alley’, ‘The Mine and the Minotaur’, ‘Mantrap’, ‘The File of the Golden Goose’, ‘The Italian Job’, ‘Villain’, ‘Who Done It?’, ‘The Gentle Trap’ and ‘The Traitors’.

2: Dollygirls. Unfortunately, only a pair of nuns appear in an unidentified location in this segment. It takes more than a couple of wimples to divert Dave W's attention from a location identification, thus the capture is pointing southwards towards Kensington High Street from outside Empire House 19 - 21 Kensington Church Street W8, one-time HQ shop of Biba, the famous fashion phenomenon. Reiss on the right is where Biba was based until it moved to Derry and Tom's in 1973 until its demise. SJ

Police keep an eye on the gathering. Is that a hill or a mound on the right? Hardly a stones throw from the above capture Dave tells us, the north west corner of Trafalgar Square SW1, with the square's north-side terrace outside The National Gallery, the unoccupied fourth plinth in the centre of the pic, and Canada House behind it.
