Storyline:

Our Norman is working in the stock room of a large London department store making a mess of everything, as usual, and Jerry Desmond, again as usual, is the long suffering straight man.

Additional Information:

Jimmy Snow worked on special effects at both Pinewood and Denham Studios but a name that often remained uncredited, as with this film. An interesting Biography and her Memories of him has been written for us by his granddaughter Brigitte, all of which can be read here.

Lee Crichlow noticed that we originally had no exterior capture of 'Burridges Department Store' included in our sequence for this film so provided this shot. Lee found the heavily matted view familiar and began to investigate . . . .

A department store, Gammages, Selfridges?..or an other? The department store is neither Gamages or Selfridges, I think that it is a set as all the shots are quite narrow with no external interest and appear rather staged. Richard Lovejoy
