Storyline:
A young woman is murdered one night on her return from the cinema followed by a further murder of a young lady who’s body was found in shed. Hughie, a strangely behaved and not very bright local youth is suspected as the girls were brutally murdered in an unusually brutal and sadistic manner and he had a penchant for collecting broken glass, believed to have been used in at least one of the attacks. Eventually the police realize that he is being framed and the true culprit, is a lodger at his Aunt’s house where he lives.

The pub has long gone but the park that was conceived in about 1943, following war damage, now provides an important open space.

Clive Penfold provides this additional capture in which Sergeant Briggs (Kenneth Midwood) follows Hughie (Terence Knapp) to the railway yard. Townmead Road in SW10, beneath the railway arch carrying the West London Line. The location also features in 'All Coppers Are . . .'.
Clive Penfold explains that the railway arch is difficult to see as it now houses Imperial Wharf Station infrastructure.
