Hoping to find the perfect place to settle down, a young couple travel to a suburban neighbourhood where all the houses look identical.

With lessons over for the day, Gemma (Imogen Poots) leaves the classroom where she has been teaching her young Pupils. Pat Cleary identifies St. Patrick's Boys' National School on New Grange Road, adjacent to Dean's Grange Cemetery in Hollypark, County Dublin.

Out of term maintenance was in progress during Pat's visit.

Across the playground Gemma sees a Girl (Molly McCann) looking down at a dead chick, pushed from it's nest by a cuckoo. St. Patrick's Boys' National School at Hollypark located by Pat Cleary.

Pat found a new entrance pathway connecting to the new school extension in the background.

As they get into the car to continue house hunting, Gemma tells her boyfriend Tom (Jesse Eisenberg) to change his dirty tee shirt. St. Patrick's Boys' National School on New Grange Road, Hollypark discovered by Pat Cleary.

Visiting Prospect Properties, the first time buyers are persuaded by Martin the estate agent to take a look at a new housing estate.

Not far from town, Gemma and Tom follow Martin into the suburban development of Yonder.

Martin turns into a road filled with buildings that look exactly the same as those already passed.

Reaching their destination, Martin (Jonathan Aris) welcomes the young couple to number 9.

After being shown around the house, Gemma and Tom leave the property when Martin and his car disappear. The British Cinematographer website advises that the exterior scenes of the estate were shot inside a large warehouse in the suburbs of Liège, Belgium where short façades of the terraced buildings were constructed.

Getting back into their VW, Gemma turns around to start the journey home.

The couple drive along more roads lined with identical houses.

Failing to find a way out of the estate by nightfall, the pair get out of the car when it runs out of fuel outside number 9.

The next morning Tom climbs onto the roof of number 9 . . . . and the nightmare begins.
