Something causes the constable to pause for a moment, just before a shadow darkens the wall of a building.

After the attempted destruction of prize vegetables, Reverend Clement Hedges (voiced by Nicholas Smith) sings the praises of Anti Pesto, Wallace and Gromit's humane pest control business.

Wallace and Gromit drive to Tottington Hall where Lady Tottington is being plagued by rabbits.

Travelling along the driveway the pair approach the hall. Wikipedia informs us that a 2012 short Wallace and Gromit film created in celebration of the National Trust is set at a house that appears to be based on Montacute House in Somerset and other sources indicate that the stately home is also the inspiration for Tottington Hall.

Wallace (voiced by Peter Sallis) and Gromit get out of their Austin A35 and are faced with a lawn full of rabbits. Is Tottington Hall based on Montacute House in Montacute, Somerset? There are similarities.

As Wallace rids the lawn of rabbits with his BunVac 6000, Victor Quartermaine (voiced by Ralph Fiennes) attempts to court Lady Campanula Tottington (voiced by Helena Bonham Carter). The distant folly across the lake is reminiscent of West Wycombe Park in Buckinghamshire.

Malcolm Tinnelly's interpretation of the scene features Daphne's Temple across the lake.

With the townsfolk's vegetables continuing to be destroyed by the Were-Rabbit, Anti-Pesto attempt to lure the beast with a huge dancing rabbit on top of their van.

Left alone while Wallace runs back through a low tunnel to recover the giant puppet, a nervous Gromit looks out from the safety of the van as the Moon appears from behind a cloud.

Discovering that his master is the Were-Rabbit, Gromit drives to Tottington Hall where Wallace is having afternoon tea with Lady Tottington.

In the morning newspaper, Gromit reads headlines reporting that the beast has struck again. With his dog Gromit, Wallace lives at fictional 62 West Wallaby Street in Wigan during a seemingly timeless period. The house also features in 'A Close Shave'.
