Another of the many locks featured in this movie. This looks like Cowley Lock on the Grand Union Canal in Cowley, Uxbridge UB8 which is confirmed by Antony Blair who adds that the location is also seen in 'Reach for the Sky'.

Interesting movie this that highlights canal life and it's horse drawn propulsion. This is Lock number 96 on the Hanwell flight of the Grand Union Canal behind St. Bernard’s Hospital as identified by Antony.
While out and about for exercise, Antony took this shot.

Establishing shot taking the movie back into London. A view of Hammersmith Bridge across the River Thames . . . looking east from Upper Mall, near the William Morris Society, adds Antony.
