If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. On the 25th anniversary of Olwen’s death, Christine Sloan, a land-girl up from London, is given a lift to the pub where she hears that a telegram from her demobbed husband Peter has been delivered to the Trevelyan‘s house. Boscastle in Cornwall with Boscastle Bridge prominent.

Lionel and Cynthia Sear are back on the trail and have ventured to Boscastle to capture this shot for us advising that the bridge is new as it had to be rebuilt after 2004 and 'The Riverside' has gained a considerable extension. (RL)

Christine returns to the village to speak with Sergeant Pearne at the police station. Boscastle with Boscastle Bridge crossing the River Valency to the right.

We know that Lionel and Cynthia like to be exact but this shot, taken from very near Capture 5, shows the view down the B3263 because almost everything has changed or been rebuilt there and the river Valency has been widened so they could not stand where the capture was taken. A large number of cars were swept through this point in 2004. Hard to imagine on a peaceful day like this. (RL)
