Storyline:

Frank Jones is an ordinary law abiding businessman. He served his country during the war and is very proud of his son Bob, a Russian linguist and translator. Frank’s world is shattered by the arrival of the police to tell him that his son is dead. ‘Accidental Death’ is the verdict at the inquest and so the plot thickens. The father embarks on his own investigation into his son’s death and discovers that there are no limits to what the government will do to protect it’s secret activities. When he finally unravels the truth, he takes matters into his own hands in a sensational climax.

Can you help:

If you have any information regarding this production, the locations or, even better, some comparison shots please contact us. Images submitted must be in Landscape orientation, as would be seen on the cinema screen, not Portrait.

We are aware that there are films on the site that were added when the criteria for the inclusion of locations was very different from today and, as a result, there may be scenes missing from some productions. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows.

Staff at GCHQ are under instruction to look out for “oddities of behaviour amongst your colleagues”. imdb reports this as Bredon, Worcestershire but I can find no evidence to confirm or deny this. Further, the historic text supporting the "now" capture that has out stood on this Website for many years could have been read to suggest that this was a 'set' on the Evesham Road, Cheltenham, which seems more likely. However, the passage of time makes the exact location difficult to identify from that photograph now, but hopefully it will trigger someones memory to give us the information that we need.

Possibly, Evesham Road, Cheltenham but please see screen capture text.
