After the Justices allow the Children fourteen days to raise the wreck to prove their innocence, the Sea Devils hear Mr. Trevor tell the Lifeboat Coxswain (Robert Brown) that it would be almost impossible. Borrowing an aqualung from the Coxswain, the gang visit a garage to get compressed air to inflate inner tubes fitted around the Sally Anne.

The Kid's realise that their efforts to raise the Sally Anne are being sabotaged when they learn that someone else has taken all of the empty 45 gallon oil drums. Victoria Pier at the entrance to Lyme Regis harbour.

As the Frogmen prepare to blow up the Sally Anne, several large oil drums are thrown down from the cliffs above the wreck.
