Storyline:
Robert Blakeley and his flamboyant wife Zee, have a love/hate marriage that is heading for a breakdown. ‘Swinging Sixties/Seventies’ London is the background for this movie, in which Robert swings between Zee, a young widow Stella and his secretary Rita. Zee makes attempts to get Robert’s full attention by attempting suicide and even delving into her bi-sexual past.

Zee, being very curious, arrives outside Stella's flat and gets out to have a look. Dave W finds Zee in Kensington Place, W8, outside No 36 and with No 39 sporting railings that remain to this day. The porch that was part of No 40 seems to have, thankfully, been taken away. (RL)

Deciding to see if Robert is in Stella's flat, Zee drops a rubbish bin to and make some noise. So here we are at No 36 Kensington Place, W8 identified by Dave W but we are left to wonder why they have been able to replace the railings so as not to match those in the capture or the current neighbours. Robert dashing through the station to get his train to the 'West Country' . . . . which he can from here as Gregor Baddley advises that this is Paddington station in London W2.
This is opposite the entrance to platforms 5 & 6 but otherwise little to match. SJ

Because of Zee's earlier intrusion, Robert and Stella look at an apartment for themselves. This and the following captures are identified as 2 Avenue Road, NW8 in SJ's London Film Location Guide back in 2007. Thank you to Tony C. for bringing this to my attention.

Moving up the stairs, Robert and Stella get a better view of the location. And Tony C. adds that Avenue Road is running over Prince Albert Road to Macclesfield Bridge.

Robert leaves Stella's flat having found that Zee was there. Jules Ballantyne recognises this as Collingham Gardens, London SW5 with Robert leaving No22 and heading towards Laverton Place. (RL)

Robert finds a taxi cab and leaves. Ennismore Gardens, SW7 looking towards Ennismore Mews top right of center, the Libyan Consulate and off screen to the left the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition from the entrance driveway of 40-90 Kingston House South seen in the following Capture. Robert enters his new apartment building.
Quickly identified by Geoff Dodds in July '18 as 40-90 Kingston House South on Ennismore Gardens, London SW7. He adds that it was also McGill’s apartment block in the 'Man In A Suitcase' TV Episode 'Day of Execution" (he also lived in ‘North’ later in the series)... This replaces Geoff's supporting GEV. SJ
