If time passing faster is a sign of aging then we as individuals must now be very very old, for it only seems like yesterday that we were sending our last Seasonal Greetings to you all. Rephrasing our greeting is always difficult because our sentiments remain the same each year, founded on the interest, involvement and words of support that come our way. The donations received are, of course, a very tangible acknowledgment and are a considerable help in disbursing the external overhead costs for which we are very appreciative.
This year we passed the listing of 3,500 films, generally adding one new film every other day with the odd additional film thrown in if it has a few, or no locations. We appear to have no difficulty in continuing that momentum. It is perhaps the poor weather this year that has affected ‘getting out and about’ for we have not received quite the number of comparison shots as in previous years but we can fortunately rely on our trusty stalwarts to provide something new each day. To them we extend a special word of appreciation. The competitiveness to be the first to resolve an unknown location however never seems to abate!
As we say each year, it is you, as either viewers or active contributors, who make ReelStreets what it is. THANK YOU.
We send you all our warmest wishes for this festive season together with health and happiness for 2025 and look forward to perhaps some new name contributors entering our ‘Inbox’.
